About 8 months ago I met a young fella on my kitebeach (southbeach) Nassau originally he was just having trouble staying up wind and have been helping him improve his kiteboarding, about 3 months ago it occurred to me he was not only fearless but getting to be better than me.
So now he’s pulling off handle passes and F 16 kiteloops and just shreddin it up, Im just stoked to see his progression .
Bellow is a little clip I did the other day of Roby D 3 days ago.
So easy to get to, awesome places to ride and get taught oil slick flat water to clean crisp Atlantic waves.
Getting there cross-shore Bahamas can make it happen
You can fly in and get stuck at Nassau airport or you can jump on the car/passenger ferry system that leaves on time and drops off at governors harbor or the currant or jump on the bohengy fast ferry passenger M/V. Fast comfier and safe.
Eluthera is a huge place with plenty bed and breakfast inn’s all over the place..I stay at pineapple fields Governors harbor when I go there
The wind direction is just about always on shore so it’s not the place to learn it is a intermediate to advanced area.
We teach in Spanish wells where the water is shallow and the wind is not on shore.
Also available in Spanish wells are tone of houses for rent some right on the beach some just off.
Spanish wells is very small and quaint., it’s a little fishing village that every one there is related to each other from one way or another they are pleasant people but you need to be respect full of there beach and there culture.
If your in Nassau and want to go do a day trip to get taught in another area close by we can do day trips to Spanish wells easy enough.
Bellow is the clip I didfor spanishwells.
