When a cold front comes through Nassau the wind starts clocking (clock wise) I chase the wind around the island (Nassau 7/21 miles) I can find a spot to ride anywhere ,allways looking for the best wind direction to go out riding or teaching in “cross-shore” is the best wind direction.

A cold front came through yesterday late, the wind was south south west (flatwater riding)I took a guest with me he was amazed at how friendly and helpfull the local riders are.

No big ego’s amongst  the local rider’s here in Nassau just a common interest in the sport we love.

There are no laws against kiteboarding in the bahamas yet , that meens please respect our launches and riding area’s don’t do anything you wouldn’t do on your own beach “please”.

the above pics where taken yesterday at one of the many kitable spots.

The season is right on schedule ,

The first cold front came through about a week ago bringing awesome wind with it.

We have had 15 to 18 knots for the last 7 days and hoping and praying that the wind gods will not let up.

So if you didn’t get the hint our kiteboarding season started a week ago, and the winter trade winds will be blowing until june 2007.

With all of the new 07 gear coming out it’s an exiting time in kiteboarding and I’m stoked to be in the loop.

Here are some pics I took the other day at go slow bend 15 to 18kts NNE.

I was sore salty and sun burnt and loved evry moment.
